Sound Healing(also referred to as a Sound Bath) is a therapeutic, evidence-informed practice that uses sound waves and vibration to support the body’s natural ability to regulate, restore, and relax. Rooted in ancient traditions and supported by modern research on the nervous system, sound healing works by engaging the parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) response, helping the body shift out of stress and into deep restoration.
During your private session, your facilitator will use singing bowls and other vibrational instruments to produce resonant frequencies that interact with the body on a cellular level. These sound waves gently calm the nervous system, slow brainwave activity, and support emotional release—similar to the meditative states accessed through yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness practices. Adding a Sound Bath session to any occasion is a wonderful way to accomodate everyone in your group! No experience is required, and you’re not asked to do anything but enjoy soaking-in the blissful affects of the vibrations.
Each session is intentionally curated to complement your yoga and wellness journey, creating space for integration, stillness, and renewal. Whether experienced on its own or alongside movement and meditation, sound healing offers a powerful pathway to reconnect with balance, presence, and inner calm.
